Alice McCall is a London-born fashion designer who spent ten years making an imprint on the London Fashion scene as a successful stylist. Working with the likes of Kelis, Blondie and Marianne Faithful she styled international advertising campaigns for Levi’s, Nike and Rimmel.
In her spare time Alice began making one off silk tops and 50’s style customised vintage dresses. Her creations were snapped up by style icons Kate Moss and McQueen muse Katie England… and that's how the imminent cross over from stylist to designer began.
A chance meeting with Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke in Ibiza led to the girls flying Alice back to Australia to design for sass and bide where she played an integral role designing both one off show pieces and top sellers alike. It wasn't long before Alice McCall had started her very own label...
Launched at Australian Fashion Week in 2004, the Alice McCall brand now has a world-wide following, perfectly combining elements of girlish charm and bohemian flare mixed up with a bit of rock'n'roll.
